A Dermatologist Tries Naked & Thriving’s Renew Resurfacing Night Serum For 4 Weeks - Here’s What Happened…

As a dermatologist, I’ve always been passionate about skincare and love trying out new products and techniques. With access to so many professional products, I can be very picky about what products I put on my skin.

Lately, I’ve been focused on finding high-quality products made out of fully natural, clean ingredients. Many of my patients prefer natural formulations in skincare, finding them to be gentler on the skin. The trick is to find natural products that don’t compromise on real, visible results.

That’s how I came across Naked & Thriving. This brand came to be highly recommended by clients and colleagues alike. They are known for their gentle-yet-effective natural skincare formulas that get RESULTS!

I decided to put these claims to the test as I try out their bestselling product - the Renew Resurfacing Night Serum. I plan to document my journey using Renew for the next 4 weeks to see how it works on my skin!

First Impressions:

BEFORE:

I have combination skin. This means some parts of my face are oily and others are dry. My skin is also prone to breakouts and some dryness-related redness.

The first time I applied this serum to my skin, it absorbed cleanly in under a minute. I felt an almost immediate boost of hydration, especially in the dry parts of my cheeks. No wonder. This serum contains the hydrating powerhouse ingredient, hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid is known to soak through layers of the skin for deep hydration. It can draw in up to 1000 times its own weight in water, helping to keep the skin plump and hydrated!

At first, I also felt a slight tingle due to the inclusion of alpha hydroxy acids (a sensation that the brand notes as normal for some users, particularly those with sensitive skin). These are gentle resurfacing ingredients that polish away dead skin cells and debris, allowing bright, fresh skin to shine through. The alpha hydroxy acids in Renew Resurfacing Serum are derived from citrus fruit and are completely natural.

By the way, I recommend applying sunscreen during the day when you use a resurfacing serum, as this new skin may be more sensitive to sunlight.

After trying this serum, I have high hopes for the following 4 weeks. The ingredients are high quality and the formula appears to be effective. I can’t wait to see how it progresses!

Thoughts on the Second Week:

Only a week in, my skin started to look more plump and hydrated. I felt my skin becoming soft to the touch and visibly brighter just a week and a half into the test!

At first, I was using Renew twice per week, but towards the end of the second week, I decided to increase to 3 times per week.

Aside from my skin feeling well-hydrated, I haven’t had any major breakouts since starting to use Renew! It’s too early to know the results yet, but so far, I’m impressed!

Results on the Fourth Week:

Having completed the 4 weeks, I can honestly say that they didn't skimp on this serum's high-performance ingredients list - and it shows!

There’s been a clear reduction in the redness and dry patches on my skin. That's the hyaluronic acid hard at work, I think. With continued use, the uneven tone should appear to diminish significantly.

Also, the oily parts of my face seem to have cleared. I don't have to battle that slick, icky shine on my nose, forehead, and upper cheeks as much. It's more of the right kind of shine now…the dewy, well-nourished look.

The fine lines around my eyes have visibly reduced, and my skin feels more evenly textured and toned. Soft to the touch, too, because it's well-hydrated.

I used to control my breakouts with targeted products. But since I started applying this serum, I haven't had one zit this fourth week.

I'm immensely impressed with the results.

Your Skin’s Bright Future

So, my secret's out. The Renew Resurfacing Night Serum is way too good not to share.

Women with mature skin need a gentle but powerful solution to their skincare needs. It’s best to go with products that are formulated with clean, green, and active ingredients to suit all skin types. This means no parabens, synthetic fragrances, phthalates, and other toxins.
